The Coaching Capability Company

The Coaching Capability Company (COCAPACO) has been created to help coaches reach their full potential. The processes implemented are workplace based and have been developed, tried and tested in organisations in Australia and overseas.

Central to the coaching process is the establishment of a positive learning environment and guidance on how it can be unintentionally eroded. It builds structure around Maya Angelou’s insightful statement “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said,  people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”   It provides proven practical pathways that lock in a positive learning trajectory.

A cascaded coaching process is used to counter leadership cumulative delinquency (i.e. where subordinate leaders or coaches follow poor or misinformed examples of their immediate leader/coach) in the approach to leadership.  The cascaded coaching process spans at least three and preferrable four levels of leadership (i.e. 1.Supervisor, 2.Superintendent, 3.Manager 4.General Manager) which, when executed in a positive learning environment, adds rigour and expedites pathways to a learning organisation.

The right examples are made cumulative by the very nature of the leadership hierarchy i.e. a GM can give a clarification to several managers each of whom spread the clarification to their Superintendents who in turn syndicate with each of their Supervisors.

The Cascaded Coaching process observes and validates the subordinate to leader interface to ensure the message is understood and implemented as intended.
