World Class teams have one thing in common, they all have World Class coaches.
Few people (if anyone) are world class in their chosen fields the day they graduate as operators, trades people, engineers, doctors or scientists. They become world best in their craft through effective coaching in the field.
It follows that coaches need to coach effectively if they expect to achieve sustainable world-class results. We advocate a cascaded coaching approach where at least three levels of leadership interact in the coaching process.
Leadership rests not only upon ability, not only upon capacity; having the capacity to lead is not enough. The leader must be willing to use it. Leadership is then based on truth and character. There must be truth in the purpose and will power in the character.
